Technical details:

Zero Energy house produces as much energy as it uses itself. It has a class of energy A ++ which corresponds to Es = 0.

The house consists of a prefabricated timber frame construction. These are delivered on site, ready to be assembled with insulation and triple-glazed super-insulated windows already installed in the factory, for optimal assembly. In record-time, the house is waterproof and windproof.

1. Photovoltaic panels:

They provide enough electricity to power the heating system and household needs.

2. Heat pump:

Powered by solar panels, two heat pumps can produce 4-5kWh of heating with 1kWh of electricity! A pump (air-water) supplies the underfloor heating on the ground floor and the domestic hot water for the whole house. The other (air-air) supplies 3 modules for heating or cooling upstairs on the first or second floor.

3. Underfloor heating

Floor heating on the ground floor, directly in the concrete for better efficiency and comfort.

4. Extremely well insulated modular construction

40 cm of roof insulation, 21 cm of wall insulation, to keep the house warm with minimal heating. The insulation also makes it possible to achieve high acoustic insulation comforts.

In addition to having very good results in terms of thermal insulation, our houses also have high sound insulation. A study carried out on June 26, 2019 on 3 houses in the Heris project by the independent expert I-KUSTIK BVBA even shows that high acoustic comfort standards are reached. 5. Doors and windows insulated to the maximum

Super-insulating triple glazed windows with factory-painted wooden frames and an aluminum layer on the outside.

6. Extremely airtight construction:

3 times less air loss compared to traditional construction, for total control of ventilation.

7. Controlled ventilation system (D):

80-90% of the heat energy of the air circulating inside the house is recovered and transferred to the incoming air, reducing the heating requirements.

8. Recovery of rainwater for toilet and garden

A family of 4 can save more than 25,000 liters of water a year.
